Hardware Request: Audio Line Out, Headset and Mic In Ports!

The Echo has huge potential in high end home automation. I love it. Ideally, there would be a stereo headset and/or audio line out port so that the Echo's audio can be sent to an external amplifier for playing music through inwall speakers, etc. Also, if an external mic input were available, it would be possible to remotely locate Echos (e.g. in an equipment room) and use concealed microphones for a true Star Trek affect throughout a home. My company calls this "Invisible Control". It's important for decor-sensitive customers who want no conspicuous tabletop or devices visible in a room. I hope some audio and mic ports are on the near term roadmap for the Echo hardware. This will increase its appeal in high end home automation.

ports? Wouldn't bluetooth be the better solution?

For some applications, I guess bluetooth would work. but being able to rack mount the Echo and have its audio output go directly to an amplifier would be easier and more reliable with a cable connection to a standard 3.5mm port.
