Remove/unpublish app from amazon mobile app distribution site (update)

I need to be able to remove an app that I created in the developer console (I haven't yet published it, but I need to use the bundle id for something else). I can't seem to find out how to remove it within the console. I found this thread on the subject that was started back in 2012: https://forums.developer.amazon.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=740 But the thread is closed and the idea of not being able to remove our own apps seems really terrible (especially unpublished apps). So I'm starting a new thread and hoping this shortcoming has been rectified since that original 2012 post. Any suggestions on how I go about this process?

In order to investigate this issue further we will need specific information about which app in your account is causing this problem. To protect the personal information of developers, we do not discuss the details of specific applications on these discussion forums. Please reach out to us via our Contact Us form ( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html ). This will allow us to validate your identity and discuss app specific information in a context that will not expose your personal and proprietary information.

Thanks Nick. However, what I am looking for is not help with my account specifically, but rather I am looking for the general steps that any developer can take to remove/unpublish an app from the Amazon mobile app distribution site without the need to contact Amazon. Or if we are unable to do this, I would like to know why we don't have control of our own apps (without having to go through Amazon customer service)? I am hoping that this isn't like those shiesty companies that make it really easy to sign up for something, but then add a bunch of hurdles when you are ready to back out...

The process is still the same for the general procedure. To remove or unpublish an application from the Amazon Appstore, please submit a request at https://developer.amazon.com/appsandservices/support/contact/contact-us with the subject "App Withdrawal", and we will handle the case as quickly as possible.

Dear NickG@Amazon, I have followed your advise to submit a contact-us request to withdraw my App. I have had to submit numerous requests, yet no one has responded. Is there any other way to request for Amazon to withdraw/unpublish an App? Thank you.
