Alexa iPhone App

Will there be an Alexa iPhone app that I can link to my Alexa and that will work much like the included remote - except I can trigger it from anywhere ?

Do you mean an app where you can speak commands and Alexa responds / acts on them? Personally, I think it'd make sense to have this added as a feature of the Echo App itself (that way end users don't have to install a separate app).
