This is an interactive space-trading game, set in the same world as a book I wrote. This proof of concept is fully functional. You can move your ship about the galaxy, and buy and sell goods on each world. What it lacks is side-quests, and interaction between players. But the initial aim is just to see if an audio game is compelling on the Echo. Already many authors and publishers are reaching out into other media to grow their brands. Especially in the world of self-publishing, where you've got to do anything you can to compete with the big publishing houses and their marketing budgets. There have been tie in games, artwork, websites. So I figure, why not an Echo app? But it didn't work out that well. Too much glare.
