Uber : Let Alexa call you a car

I am working on an Uber skill for Alexa (not affiliated with them). It currently works where you can call a ride, get time estimates, and confirm a ride. There is a lot of lacking features and a couple minor bugs. Would love some contributions and help from the community. Right now it is a closed source repo until I am finished verifying that all personal data is abstracted out of the codebase. If you're interested in helping then let me know and I can give you access. Will go public with repo soon as well. Demo of a humorous bug (fixed now): http://preview.tinyurl.com/pebpwn7 Here is the link for when we go public: https://github.com/objectiveSee/Uber-Alexa-Skill

My skill is now open source! Only requires some config variables to be setup and then your Lamba function & Alexa skill. Would love some help! See the GitHub issue tracker for a list of what needs to be done for a 1.0-style release. https://github.com/objectiveSee/Uber-Alexa-Skill

To grow this skill beyond a single-user demo, you're going to need to create a linked website to manage user information. Also, you will need a more user friendly way to collect the more technical information from Uber. That's rather a chunk of work.

I agree! This is just the first step intended for developers only. The skill will use DynamoDB as a backend so we can have user specific data, and then some bare bones website to sign-up for the skill service. My experience is with Node on the backend however and I'm not great with front-end web. The plan is to get the features built out first, and I am hoping that some other developers can help with that aspect.
