It's been 3 weeks since I've submitted mine with no results. I contact support but no one replies. What's going on? Why isn't there a department I could call?

No, it's just a black hole until you hear from them. Over 2 weeks ago, I got an email from them telling me I couldn't use Apple's Intellectual Property, and "Please provide documentation demonstrating that you have the right to use Apple IP." I replied immediately, saying I'm not using Apple IP at all, and asking what exactly they are referring to. It's been over 2 weeks, and I've still not heard a single thing back from them. I know they are working on their certification process, and they are a little overwhelmed, and I've talked to them on the phone about this, but still - it's very frustrating. The random communication with no ability to check status or get replies to questions is one of the reasons I lost interest in developing for Alexa.

I received an email from The Alexa Skills Team on Nov 13th (roughly 30 days after submission) saying the following. "Thank you for your submission. We are currently working through a large number of skill submissions, which is resulting in longer than expected turn-around times for certification feedback. We will follow up shortly with feedback about your skill. Thank you so much for your patience, and our apologies for the inconvenience." I'll be hitting the two month mark this next week, we'll see if I hear anything or get another generic email.
