Skill is submitted, but I can still change the code?

I submitted a skill for certification, yet I can still change the node.js code in the Lambda function - I thought this was not supposed to be possible. Note: The skill information page (description, app name, invocation name, schema, utterances, etc.) is frozen - but I can still modify the node.js code. Thanks

The only thing submission freezes is what you enter in the Alexa developer's console. You can change just about everything else. There is no explicit connection between the Alexa developer's console and any other element of AWS (or your own stuff). This is one example of how certification is broken. I, pretty much, gutted and re-wrote Tweet Poll without having to submit it for re-certification. Right now, with all the nonsense the certification team is coming out with, I'm very tempted to tug my forlock, say "yes sir, three bags full sir", dumb my skill down to what they want, and then revert to the original code after they certify it. There's nothing to stop you.
