Unable to upload update to application

Hello, I tried to upload a new update to my app, however I had this error: "Failed to upload binary. The package name of the uploaded binary does not match other binaries. Contact us for more information" I looked this up and apparently you had to rename the new file the same as the first one, so I did, and nothing worked. Please help, I need to update this app.

Hi originincorporation, A package name is a unique identifier used by the device operating system to validate an app's identity. This is the key component in any of the app store's process for checking apps for updates, as well as assisting in creating additional values like app-specific user preferences and game save data. It's important to note that your current version's Binary(appname.apk) file name is not the same as the package name. Binary file names can change from version to version, provided the underlying package name (determined through your app manifest or the respective build settings of other development tools such as Unity) does not change. Thanks!

And what if the app has never been published yet? Why is it STILL showing an error if the package name has been changed/corrected? That is a bug in your system

No individual troubleshooting is needed - the issue is general. Also, your "Contact Us" system is broken because it does not show history to the external developer (me) - in other words it's a black-box with no way to track case history - at least presently. You did answer my question at https://forums.developer.amazon.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=19&threadID=551 though - let's continue with clarifications there.
