How do I update for in-store purchases?

I am using a Droid Mini running Android 4.4.4. I downloaded Amazon Underground and downloaded a few games through it and am unable to make in game purchases. AU keeps saying it needs to be updated: "In order to enable in-app purchasing from Amazon, you will need to update your version of the Amazon Appstore." Every time I look at "Apps & Game Settings," it just says "Appstore Update Required" for every option. I'll try to to follow that path: "Before you can change this setting, an update of your Appstore standalone app is required." I get an option to install via Amazon, which just returns me to the Underground home page again. Nothing is updated if I manually download Underground and install it, either. I tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing new. Is this app just broken, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm having the same problem. It is odd because I'm only getting this error for some games but not all. Any help?

I figured it out. You need to go to the 'regular' Amazon App (not the Underground one) and update it. Once you update that one, you can set its setting to allow data tracking. After I did that, it automatically reset the Underground setting and the games worked.
