Anyway to stay in demo mode or increase the timeout for Alexa?

Hi All, I'm new to the forums and this is my 1st post. Is there anyway to stay in demo mode or increase the timeout for Alexa to respond? I would like to have a natural conversation where Alexa is explaining a topic for the user and Alexa waits for the next step to talk about, just like a conversation. Right now if we enter demo mode and wait Alexa automatically ends demo mode. This requires us to say, "Alexa enter Demo Mode" again. Making for an awkward conversation to say the least. Regards, -SS

Two things: 1. Alexa has a demo mode? Do you have docs on this? 2. I believe you can use a reprompt with no words to effectively extend your timeout, but it only gets you another 6 seconds (or whatever the timeout is).

Hi shotsimon, Welcome to the dev forums and thanks for posting! It's not clear what you mean by "demo mode" or "Alexa, enter Demo Mode" -- there is no skill named "Demo Mode". Could you please clarify? Other than that, there's no way to increase Alexa's timeout for listening to a response. Thanks, Levon
