How to control Echo Device, Class, methods or APIs

Hi, Alexa SDK and Skilskit does not have any echo device control methods. How to control Echo HW device ( led, speaker, others..)? Audio Mic controls or apis to access mic arrays? or post DSP processing Are there any way to have a 3.5mm audio out? and using 12v or usb power instead of 100v AC? Thanks

You are correct. There are no APIs for the Echo. This is not a SDK for the Echo. This is the [i]Alexa[/i] Skills Kit. It's about the service, which may be deployed to many other devices, not just the Echo. Have a read of the overview sections in the docs to understand the difference between the Echo and Alexa.

Will Amazon or would not provide echo SDK for their benefits? HW SDK will be a great to open to lure and expanding echo or aws services. I really want amazon to do this.
