Can't register my Echo

Ok so I signed up for an Amazon Developer account but then it mentions something about following directions to reregister the echo. I see no such option, am I missing something? Any direction would be awesome!

Hi Jackie, Welcome to dev forums and thanks for posting! I assume you would like to develop and test your skill(s) on your Echo device. For that you will need to use the same login info for your Echo as you use for your dev account portal. Login to your developer account, click 'Settings' on the top navigation menu, then in 'My Account' section note the email address. Now open your Alexa app on your device and if you are already logged in, then click the menu icon, then 'Settings', then 'Log Out'. In the Login window, enter the exact same email and password that you use for your developer account. This way, the two will be connected and now whenever you develop a skill, it will be available to be tested on your Echo, even before you submit it for certification.
