Host the web app

If I host my web app on my server do I need those files when submission process is over? Do I need to be online to use html5 apps?

Hi Prkos, Thank you for your post. Yes, since you are hosting the app related web resources (html, css,js,images etc) in your server, you should keep your server up after you submit and being live. The app would always fetch the web resources from your server when you are running it through "Web App Tester" or it's live from Amazon App Store.

Hope you can help. We've developed Web Apps for sales professionals. We are hosting them on our site. What would I need to submit to get them sold through Amazon? Not the source code, right?

Hi, When you submit a web app to the Amazon Appstore, you put a link to the index page of your web app. You are not required to submit your source code. Thanks, Nick
