Is there any way to perform custom analytics on the underlying data?

There are a set of custom analytics that we'd like to perform - e.g. Calculate what percentage of users aged between 16-24 pressed menu item X within this date range (where X is an attribute on menu item, and age is an attribute on a user event) Now it would be great if there were better UI tools - but a fabulous solution would be to provide access to the underlying data, that way we could fire up amazon's existing tools (import to Redshift, EMR etc) to perform our own custom analytics. Any plans?
