Can't find 'My Account' with the emulator

Hello All, I'm trying to follow the instructions for testing Maps on an Amazon emulator. I'm looking at the instructions outlined here: https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/maps/building.html Specifically, I'm up to these steps: 1. On the emulator or device, open the Settings app. 2. Tap My Account. I do not see an option titled "My Account" from within the emulator's settings. (I see 'Accounts', and that allows me to set up either e-mail or a corporate account, but there's nothing titled 'My Account'.) I've even filled out the e-mail option, and there's never a step for registering. I've tried creating many different Amazon emulators (The current one is: Kindle Fire 2nd generation; API level 15; armeabi-v7a) However, I get a "system UI stopped working when it launches". My host machine is a MacBook Air (2009) Any suggestions or comments are welcome! :-) Best regards, Tim Crowley

Hi Asa, Thanks for showing interest in Amazon Maps. I think your Kindle emulator is not correctly configured. While creating a Kindle emulator in AVD, you need to select both "Device" and "Target" correctly for the targeted Kindle version. These are the correct values for "Device" and "Target" for 4 variation of Kindle Emulators available. Device ---> Target Kindle Fire (1st Generation) (600 x 1024: mdpi) ---> Kindle Fire (Amazon) - API Level 10 Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) (600 x 1024: mdpi) ---> Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) (Amazon) - API Level 15 Kindle Fire HD 7" (800 x 1280: hdpi) ---> Kindle Fire HD 7" (Amazon) - API Level 15 Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (1200 x 1920: hdpi) ---> Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (Amazon) - API Level 15 Please try to follow the instructions given here : https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/fire/emulator-guide.html#CreatingAVD Hope this helps. Hello Sujoy, You're absolutely correct - I misread the instructions on setting up a Kindle emulator. Once I went back and downloaded some of the additional SDK items, everything worked perfectly. Originally, I specified a Kindle Fire (2nd Generation), but I picked the standard Android SDK (API Level 15). I have now switched it to Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) for both and all is well. Thank you for your help!
