We update achievements during game play with updateProgress(). Once an achievement has been completed, a pop up appears at the bottom of the screen. We update achievements during play for two reasons: 1) This makes it clearer when the achievement has been reached, and what it is being awarded for. 2) Within a single stage it might be possible to reach multiple achievements, so it makes sense not to queue them all up until the end. I am perfectly happy with the placement of the pop-up, and in fact this is the ideal screen location in our game for this to happen. HOWEVER, quite often it is possible that the user should accidentally tap this pop-up which then causes the Game Circle overlay to be shown. We REALLY don't want this to happen - is it possible to disable this behaviour as at the moment it really means it's impractical to have these pop-ups during the game itself?
