Amazon cloud drive app on android does not work for me at all. Bug.

I install amazon cloud drive app on my lg g4 verizon phone. It works great at first. The data used by the app grows to 1.5-2.5GB or so, which is fine, my phone has the space... However after this happens closing the app, leaving my house, turning off my phone, changing which folder I'm looking at... any of these tasks will break the app entirely, so that when you open it up the black loading circle spins endlessly forever. Clearing cache doesn't fix the issue, closing app, force closing app, reseting phone none of these fix the issue. Clearing all data from the app or uninstalling the app fixes the issue but also resets the library on my phone so it has to remake those 1-2gb and re-break again a day later. IMO the data is thumbnails, the BUG is too many thumbnails causing some sort of internal infinite loop or crash. The solution is either to give users the option to turn thumbnails off entirely, or find a way to fix this bug. Yes I have a million files on my cloud drive, however, I do not care at all if I have access to thumbnails, they're all well sorted and organized. Speaking of well organized it is possible that the issue isn't too many thumbnails but too many files in a list, or too many nested subfolders somewhere causing the bug/crash... but since there is no way to tell the app to stop making and storing thumbnails there's no way for me to test this. I've had this issue now for two months, ever since I signed up for cloud drive, it's effected android 5.1 5.11 and 6.0 on my LG g4 verizon phone. I'm not sure if there is anything I can do to fix this issue, but it is a bug, either fixing the bug or letting me turn of thumbnails would be great. If thumbnails were turned off, even if that didn't fix the issue, it would at least let me reinstall the app to fix the issue and keep using the app... as it stands now reinstalling the app takes about a day to make those new 2gb of thumbnails, which really kills the battery. If any user knows of a way to fix this issue that'd be great, or if any dev could pass this along so that someday eventually it gets dealt with. Hopefully this is the right subforum for this post.

I'll email digital-cloud-drive@amazon.com as well. However, I also cannot find anywhere in: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=508510 to submit complaints and feedback for the amazon apps. I should mention I am not looking for technical support help. I absolutely know how to use the app, it is just flawed. In fact the only functional way I currently use the cloud is via 3rd party program rclone. I'm trying to report a reproducible bug. I'm not sure where else to submit this sort of thing, an email just seems so unlikely to ever be looked at. It seems there is LITERALLY no customer support for amazon's own software. Which makes sense given how many flaws the desktop and mobile apps for this service have. Sorry for having posted this here.

also... WHAT THE HECK?!?! https://forums.developer.amazon.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=9559&tstart=0 this guy posted in the same forum with similar feedback for amazon cloud drive... and was told "thanks for you feedback" instead of "go away we don't want you here"..... heck even if this app was only for 3rd party software developers... I already use rclone to replace the amazon desktop program (because that doesn't work either)... and I have yet to find any 3rd party android software to use the cloud drive... so if a 3rd party developer were reading my rant, I'd be totally fine with hearing about their great 3rd party solution to the issue :(

Thank you for additional details. My initial suggestion was about the Cloud Drive app specifically, and the way to submit feedback directly through the app, which I still advice you to do. However, I have also forwarded your comments to the Cloud Drive services team. Thanks again!
