Maximum Data Stored On Cloud Drive / TOS?

Hey, So do any devs have experience storing big data using ACD? I'm talking about 100TB+ of mostly work files and my personal film collection. I'd be uploading using a gigabit server hosted elsewhere to initially seed the data to ACD.

Hi lizzy42, Welcome to dev forums and thanks for posting! Technically, there is no limit to individual customer storage. If you want to upload 100 TB, you can. It is probably going to take quite a while. Just keep in mind that upload and download speeds are always limited by the smallest pipe between you and the cloud. In addition to that, please also review the Terms of Use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=201376540

5.2 Suspension and Termination. Your rights under the Agreement will automatically terminate without notice if you fail to comply with its terms. We may terminate the Agreement or restrict, suspend or terminate your use of the Service at our discretion without notice at any time, including if we determine that your use violates the Agreement, is improper, substantially exceeds or differs from normal use by other users , or otherwise involves fraud or misuse of the Service or harms our interests or those of another user of the Service. If your Service Plan is restricted, suspended or terminated, you may be unable to access Your Files and you will not receive any refund of fees or any other compensation. Yeah I read the TOS, this is troubling, I assume 100TB would be more than normal use by other users?

100 TB would definitely be a power user, but if it's just for you to use as your own *personal* storage, that should be fine. Using Cloud Drive as the platform for torrent / video sharing site or similar would be against TOS. Thanks!

Thats awesome, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be losing out on all my data. Its not a problem to occasionally retrieve my movies (from one IP address that's my house) to watch in real time (assuming I get the correct throughput)? That wouldn't constitute sharing right?
