Querying FAQ: You can promote up to 1,000 products at a time in your app.
We're looking at developing an app which will receive a push of an individually prepared list of digital products on a daily basis. The upper limit will be for 50 items per day, but the total number products being promoted across all users of the app could approach 1,000 with just 20 users. Am I understanding this FAQ correctly? Is this '1,000 products in the app in total' or '1,000 products per installed app'? Just looking for some clarification that this isn't a game changer for us. Thanks.
Thanks for the response. I just want a little more clarification. Are all calls to LinkService, and ShoppingService methods limited to 1,000 products per month? Does the limit really apply to requests to LinkService.openRetailPage() given that this can open home pages, search pages, or product pages? How exactly does the limit apply with this class? Thanks.
Hi Windwalkermedia, Sorry for the delay to reply. linkService should not have this limit because it goes directly to amazon website. ShoppingService has limit of 1000 unique products per month. Thanks.
