Logged into Merch and saw dashboard on November 11 2015 Now I have to reque

I logged into merch by amazon after see a youtube video about it on November 11, 2015 around 9:00 pm. I logged in, saw the dashboard and logged out. After watching videos on youtube, I logged back in on November 18, 2015 to get started and it then showed me I had to request an invitation? If I logged in before the November 16, 2015 change to invitation, why can I not use it now?
