Amazon "destroying" my apk file!?

Hi, [I upload the !!same!! apk file to Google & Amazon] I got the second time the same request: - Trial loaded from Google Play and everything works fine. - Buy it from Amazon and can't get connection. Also I asked the user if the Trial from Amazon is also not working: => Not working!!! Few weeks ago I got the same request. I disabled then the "DRM" and asked the user if it's working now. Unfortunately I got no response ...and I thought that was the reason. It seems that Amazon doing something with my apk file so hat the app is not working anymore. I need special ports for "Bonjour" communication to pair the Android device with iTunes. Did amazon disturb this ports? (I need for pairing the Port 1024) I was also wondering why a lot of people loading the Trial version but not buy it. => Now I know it! Meanwhile the "user" get the money back from Amazon and buy it from Google => Everything works!! -Erdal

Hi, I do it already! That was the answer: (Maybe they don't really read my email) Hi Erdal, Thanks for writing in. Amazon DRM works in sync with the Amazon App Client installed on the users device. DRM issues can keep an unauthorized user from opening your app, but would not impact functionality if they are indeed authorized. If your app was working with prior versions (I see you have quite a few), then this would not be the first place I would start looking. I would start with your Crash Reports in your distribution portal reporting section. What do you see happening? What device are your users having an issue with? How many users are impacted? Are they logged in to the Amazon App Client? Is the other end set up correctly, connected etc? If you do find a definable issue gather as much detail as you can: device, failure, log files, ports used, code examples, your development environment, etc and we can try and help you resolve the issue. Please let us know if we resolved your issue: .... Again: What you doing with my apk file? Message was edited by: ernidumper
