Interacting with customers through the product discussion forum

As each app on Amazon now has a discussion forum available on the product page, can we developers use that as a way to interact with customers ? For instance responding to customer support questions in a public way so solutions can be visible to all users ? Otherwise we're creating groups on other venues like Yahoo to discuss issues and providing updates on where we're going with the product. It seems far better to keep this in the Amazon ecosystem and let people have a single point for information about the app. thanks
