Having to manually add frameworks to Xcode each time a fresh build is created is not good for a slick workflow. Many of the best plugins these days have automatic integration and make the required additions to the Xcode project at build time. Personally speaking I make a lot of fresh builds and I just don't want the chore of having to add the frameworks each time. Hopefully there are plans to improve the plugin and add automatic integration? Thanks. AM
Sure. The popular Prime31 Unity plugins have good integration. See
www.prime31.com. Perhaps the best to look at though would be Unity's own services such as Unity Ads, Unity Analytics and Everyplay. They come with source code that manipulates the Xcode project. The main thing I think is to be careful when modifying the project and don't make assumptions. There have been times when certain plugins have broken the build process, e.g. made the info.plist invalid, etc.
