gradle: library dependency management? What is Amazon doing?

Why doesn't Amazon support Gradle and Maven? All the major apps are starting to host their libraries through jcenter. https://docs.gradle.org/1.8-rc-1/userguide/dependency_management.html#sub:maven_jcenter http://gradleplease.appspot.com/ I spent 15 minutes downloading the SDK, unzipping it, putting the *.jar file in the apps/libs directory, rebuilding the project, etc. This is very error prone and difficult to keep up to date. The new Android Studio has more sophisticated library management mechanism that solves many of these issues. -Anuj
