How to reduce the withholding US tax - complete the W8BEN form?

Hi all. This has probably been asked before but I just wanted to clarify. At the moment the revenue I make from the US amazon app store is roughly halved by the time it enters my bank. So for example, if a user buys a $1 in app purchase, then I'll get $0.49. This is because amazon takes 30% royalty, and then another 30% withholding tax. My questions are: 1) If I fill in the W8BEN form (I think thats the name) and submit it through the 'Tax Identity' tab in my panel, then can I get a reduced witholding tax rate? I'm from the UK. 2) If I do get a reduced rate, how much tax will be witheld roughly? 3) If the new reduced rate is applied, will I get a tax return on revenue I made from before? If so, when does this get sent to me? Thanks for any help all :) Martin
