App keys and multiple app stores

The publisher agreement is very explicit about not using a key for one app in a different app. I have a couple questions: * If I publish an apk in the Amazon store AND on Google Play, do I use the same app key in both stores? * If I have Android and iOS versions of the SAME app, do they need different app keys? If so, then for August and September do the iOS and Android versions both have their own set of 1,000,000 impressions that qualify for the $6 eCPM? (In other words, the same app would get 2,000,000 impressions at the $6 eCPM since it has an app key for Android and a different one for iOS.)

The quick start guide says this: "The same Application Key can be used across platforms, but each distinct app must have a unique Application Key. For example, the IMDb apps for Android Phone and Kindle Fire use the same Application Key, but the IMDb Trivia app has a different Application Key." https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/earn/mobile-ads/docs/quick-start But gives two amazon platforms in its example. It doesn't mention anything about Amazon vs Google Play, or Android vs iPhone. Now I'm thinking I get my app into the Amazon store, then use that same app key in Google Play and the Apple App Store. Is that right?

Hi Amazon Customer, We recommend developers use one app key for your Android app (app distributed on AMZN and Google Play would share the same app key) and use another app key for the same app that is an iOS app (the iOS app key generation flow in the dev portal is different) The 1M/month/app impression cap from the $6 CPM would apply to each app key (1M/month/app/Android App Key and 1M/month/app/iOS App Key).
