Ads don't fill on an Android 2.3.5 device

I'm getting ready to release a game app, and I've been very pleased with how easy the Amazon Mobile Ads were to implement in my app. So far, the release build live (non test) ads are filling just fine on all my test devices but one. It's an older HTC Evo running Android Gingerbread (2.3.5). I'm getting zero fill on that device. The weird thing is, the amazon test ads work perfectly fine on this device, which leads me to believe there is nothing wrong with my implementation. But as soon as I switch to a signed release build, the ads don't fill. Has anyone seen problems with older devices like this, or does anyone have a clue what might be going on here? I've downloaded other free games on this device and all of their ads (including another game using Amazon ads) are filling just fine.

Thanks for your question. While there are many factors (including device-specific factors) that may affect your test device's fill rate, the Amazon Mobile Ads API continues to support Android 2.3.5 phones and will still provide fill for these phones. If you're still concerned about not receiving ads on your test device then please (1) enable debug logging by following the instructions at https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/earn/mobile-ads/docs/testing-your-app#Debugging and (2) provide a full logcat from the time period before the ad request was attempted to after the ad request has failed. Please raise a ConatctUs ( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html) with us and we will look into the issue.
