Anyone else having problems updating description, keywords, new version etc
Hey all. Ive been having problems updating our games description, keywords, new version etc this past week. Im curious is anyone else is having the same problem? I sent a message to the support team for one of our games last week and it seemed to work ok for one update, but now the game can't be updated again. Here's the latest message I sent to the support team which describes the latest issue. Has anyone else had this problem? Hi there. I sent a support message a few days ago about not being able to update our games description, screenshots, keywords etc because the 'edit' button did not appear in the current version edit page. The edit button now appears but I'm having a new problem. I can edit the description, keywords etc but when I click on 'submit app' the changes dont take effect. For example, I changed the keywords a little but can't find our game when I search on the the amazon app store using the new keywords. Previously when I made a change to keywords or description the status would appear as 'approved' under the 'my apps' section, then a few hours later it would appear as 'live' and the changes can be seen in the app store. Now though, the status does not change to 'approved' and instead just stays on 'live'. I've tried this with a couple of games. Such as 'Gangnam Style Vs Dance Zombies' and 'High Speed Moto', and a few others. i've also tried to make changes on a mac, PC machine, and using different browsers, but still having the same problem. Yes we are having a huge problem updating our description. The submit button will not become active no matter what I've done. I've tried writing Amazon three times now. The first time they didn't answer the question, the second time has now been almost a week with no response. Today I wrote and asked once again for help. HELP!!! We've won these fantastic awards for our app and cannot get this in the description. This is taking so much time when I could be working on getting my next app out. I tried changing the description, but no go.
Have you updated the releases notes tab on the top right hand side for each of the translations? I didn't spot this before and it stopped the 'submit app' button from being press-able. Hope this helps Martin
Hi Marie, I see your ContactUs case is replied on 11th July saying to update the release notes in French and Italian in you app in order to get the submit button activated. Moreover I see the latest version of your app "Spoon and the Moon" is live for last 3 days. It seems that you were able to submit your app. Please let us know if you have any further issue. Thanks.
