Removing DRM from new version of app

I would like to remove DRM from the new version of an app. The old version has DRM. When I switch the DRM response from yes to no I get the message 'Warning: This DRM setting differs from past versions of the application. This may impact existing users of your application.' I understand that users will no longer have to be signed into the Amazon App Store Client to access the app. Can anyone tell me in what other ways it is going to impact existing users?

Hi Sterling, Thank you for your patience. If your app is integrated with Amazon sdks, those might not work properly. e.g. IAP purchase attempts will fail as long as there is no customer signed in. The IAP detail page will not be displayed. Hi Sterling, Just to clear up the understanding, if DRM is applied in the previous version(lets say 1.0) and removed in 1.1, the users using 1.0 would remain unaffected because 1.1 is the version where DRM is turned off. IAP will not work as expected if there is no one signed in.
