searchSupported is false

I am not sure if I am writing in proper place. I am trying to implement an application, using amazon mobile associate. I am trying to test the application in AVD. I am getting two issues. The most annoying one is searchSupported is false; Would someone be kind enough to explain me this issue.

Hi, Do you have the appstore client installed? The API uses the appstore client to do search and other functions, and will be disabled if the appstore client is not available on the device.
