Kindle Newspapers

We are a UK based group of weekly national newspapers. 3 years ago we applied to publish for what was then Kindle News. We were not successful at that point. Kindle's Newsstand (UK) is has become a collection of Britain's most well known secular press. Has the application process to publish to Newsstand now been closed? We noticed that the National Catholic Reporter has succeeded to make the shelf in the USA. Currently we have produced an app via SDK, but it's not quite what we want. It is very hard to discover from Amazon what the position is re publishing newspapers via Newsstand. Is it open or now closed (in the UK)? Thank you Andy

Hi Herald, Thank you for writing to us. Apps that are available in Kindle Fire Newsstand are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis. We will review your request to be included in Kindle Fire Newsstand and will follow up if we need any additional information. Please submit your app to the Developer portal and write a ContactUs with the details of the app what you want to see in the Newstand.
