Kindle Fire HD7 Unable to reset web-App tester stuck in endless loop

I deployed an Html5 demo app whose intent was to test the accelerometer capabilities of the KF HD7. A modal dialog alert was missed being commented out prior to u/l and testing in the web-app tester. Despite uploading a cleaned copy with the removed alert, the web-app tester continues to render the offending obsolete file. I am able to verify on the remote server the new changed file is present. Pressing the left facing arrow along the right side menu bar does not back out, e.g. close the Html5 page. Removing the launch entry from the list of URLs below the 'Hide JSON URLs' text, then after multiple power-off, wait, power-on attempts, still does not clear the offending file. Is there a way to clear-remove Html5 files from the web-app tester data space. How to? Where is that? What is the method to reset-restart the web-app tester without having to power down? Thank you, Robin
