Updates To Web Site Are Not Reflected In Web App

My first web app went live last night in the Amazon App Store and I am so proud to have finally accomplished this goal. Unfortunately, it was then pulled due to screen shots (despite what the submission process says, you MUST have 1280 x 720 or higher to stay in the app store), but I have fixed that and resubmitted. I currently HAVE the app, Ebook Blend on my Kindle Fire, because I was able to grab it before it was taken down. I chose a web app so that when I update information on the app manifest web directory ( http://www.ebookblend.com/app) it will update it in the app on my Kindle Fire. Unfortunately, I am not seeing that happen. I have tried to find out what I need to do to basically trigger a new cache of the web view portion of the app on individual devices without requiring users to remove the app and redownload the app to their device. Any help would be appreciated. My manifest file looks this (with personal details removed) and is housed in the appropriate top directory of the files of I want updated when I update the HTML. { "verification_key": "my key", "launch_path": "index.html", "type": "web", "version": "1.00(1)", "last_update": "2014-01-14 09:11:40+0000", "created_by": "elizabeth ann west" } Message was edited by: Ewizabef

I solved it. I am using host gator for hosting... and I needed to update the MIME type for .webapp to application/x-web-app-manifest+json as it's recommended at the very bottom of this page: https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/platforms/webapps/docs/manifest.html Just sharing in case others run into this issue.
