Hi everyone. I've noticed this past few months that our downloads on amazon have gone lower and continue to drop each week. This is terrible and its effecting revenue a lot now. We've added new games over the past few months, done updates and changed keywords around to improve downloads, nothing seems to work. What is going on? And am I the only one? Originally I found amazon to been a haven and focussed on it a lot compared to google and itunes, but now it seems we're in the same boat again. Our downloads on iTunes dropped in to nothing when they did their stupid search list / chomp update in iOS6. The same thing seems to be happening here. We're also not appearing for some search terms now. For example, we appear for the search 'plants vs zombies 2' but not 'plants vs zombies'. Yet we appeared for 'plants vs zombies' a few weeks ago. Whats going on there? I do hope amazon doesn't become just another big publisher portal where indies are completely screwed out of visibility and from even making a basic living. The main questions I have for everyone are: 1) Am I the only one or has everyone had a drop in downloads this past few months? 2) Did amazon update the search algorithm recently or do apps get removed from search terms manually? I'd hate to think that we have to compete with each other for visibility, and then on top of that we have to compete with amazon as well. 3) Im looking to connect with more developers on amazon to share information.
