Can't get sample to work.

I'm trying to get the "sampleIAPConsumablesApp" to work. I am using Android Studio and followed the directions here: https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/earn/in-app-purchasing/docs-v2/getting-started-with-iap-v2.0 The sample compiles and runs error free but when I try hitting the button "Buy Orange" nothing happens. No purchase dialog opens. I have tried on my Samsung Galaxy, Kindle Fire and multiple emulators. All I get is a log print: 12986-12986/com.amazon.sample.iap.consumable D/c﹕ In App Purchasing SDK - Sandbox Mode: sendPurchaseRequest 12986-12986/com.amazon.sample.iap.consumable D/SampleIAPConsumablesApp﹕ onBuyOrangeClick: requestId (ce0d7aeb-2492-4693-ae9d-c6ad5210e41b) I have tried searching for hours for someone having the same issue and have tried following the steps in the IAP doc over and over, but I always get the same result.

Hello, Thanks for your interests in Amazon Appstore. Please make sure you have Amazon App Tester installed on your devices, and amazon.sdktester.json copied to the root directory of SD card.
