In app pruchase and amazon not showing the same price

Hi, I am very new to Amazon, have been using Google Play before. First off, in Google Play I could let my mastercard be connected to the app, so that in app purchases went to my mastercard and then to my bank account, all automatic. In amazon, this does not seem to work. I purchased a gift card balance to be able to make a purchase in app, but maybe someone can tell me of an easier way. Now to the issue, in the app it says it costs 4.99USD to buy the virtual jewels (in-game), but when pressing on buy, and the amazon window pops up it says 6.24USD. I checked and amazon took 6.24USD from my account. When using Google Play, it always took 4.99 USD for the same purchase. Can anyone tell me why this happens? Thanks!

However, if you are a mobile app developer and you are having an issue pricing your In-App items, please feel free to submit your issue via the "Contact Us" form in your Developer Portal.
