Please enable "paste" into password field in Appstore for Android

When the Amazon Appstore app was first released, users could paste from the clipboard into the password field when logging into the app. This functionality is very useful for users that use strong passwords generated and stored by a password manager app. At some point, Amazon removed the ability to paste into the password field, thus making logging into the Appstore much more inconvenient.

Amazon devices still allow you to paste into the password field in most of the scenario, and in the Registering into the kindle account page also. Can you manually cross check by pasting into the kindle password editText box field. We also Need to check if the password manager has a problem or not. Easy way to reset the password manager application is to clear cache in the application manager page in the settings page and start like a new application.

Just updated to v5.0010.160.8C 7/26/2013 (1.0.965.0) on Nexus 4 and pasting STILL isn't allowed.... This is a MAJOR hassle when trying to use strong passwords... Please fix!

After starting to use a password vault, "KeePass," I attempted to copy/paste the 25 character password, but the "Appstore for Android" will not allow pasting on my Verizon S3. Needless to say, this is a complete deal breaker and I won't use the "Appstore for Android" again until/unless such functionality is restored.

This is also a deal breaker for me. I see no point in using an app that requires this much effort to sign in to. And honestly it's concerning the time between this being checked into and any kind of response, looking at time stamps of the above posts. Are there previous versions available that still have this functionality without any security issues?

Thank you Sujoy for letting us know this issue is being worked on. I have found a work around to not being able to copy and paste details into the login form. If you type in a single letter then tap on the field to bring up the cursor you can then move the cursor to the beginning of the field. After moving the cursor, release your touch and a paste option appears and you can paste your password into the field. Once pasted just delete the last character. I got this to work on a Nexus 4 running the latest Swiftkey keyboard. I hope this helps anyone else having this problem.
