RemoteMediaPlayer.setVolume() and setMute() do not work

Using the default media player, both of these functions do nothing and do not change the volume nor mute the player. RemoteMediaPlayer.getVolume() always return 1.0, not matter what value is passed to setVolume(). Moreover, MediaPlayerStatus.getVolume() always return 0. So basically, volume control does not work at all.

The built-in media player receiver does not support the mute and volume API calls at this time. A custom media player is required to use these APIs. More information regarding the Fling SDK can be found here: https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/experience/fling/docs/amazon-fling-frequently-asked-questions.

Thank you, I overlooked these faq entries. Although I think it would be best to put all the default media receiver information on its own page: https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/experience/fling/docs/working-with-built-in-receiver-on-fire-tv
