Sending non-status notifications from a custom player to controller(s)

We are working on an app managing a video playlist for multiple users (e.g. multiple controller devices). I am missing pieces of functionality in the API in order to do this type of things, in particular: 1. Can the custom player send a command to controllers at a time of its choosing (e.g. when a new video is added at the back of the playlist, all the connected controllers need to be notified)? Or do we need to build an ad-hoc communication channel between controllers and custom player in order to accomplish this? 2. I am assuming that all messages from the custom player will be broadcasted to all connected controllers. Is that true?

Hi tifr0z , The only callback from player (e.g. custom media player) is media status callback, (currently there is no general callback). Media status callback will be sent from player once a Listener is added with the addStatusListener() method. The logic to send a callback from custom media player to the controller can be changed; for example the available sample sends callbacks whenever media playback status is changed. The player will send media status callbacks to all listeners that have been previously added
