Use of AdSupport.framework in the iOS SDK

I am adding FireTV support to an existing iOS app that does not show any advertisements. The iOS developer agreement prohibits linking to the AdSupport.framework unless for the exclusive purpose of advertising (See at the bottom of this message for complete reference). On the other hand, the Fling setup for iOS requires linking to the AdSupport.framework (ref: https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/experience/fling/docs/setting-up-your-amazon-fling-development-environment-for-ios) If I am reading this correctly, adding FireTV support would require me to show some advertisement in the iOS controller in order to comply with Apple's rules. There has got to be a way out of this because it doesn't make much sense...can you help me make sense of this? Paragraph 3.3.12 of the iOS developer agreement states: "You and Your Applications (and any third party with whom You have contracted to serve advertising) may use the Advertising Identifier, and any information obtained through the use of the Advertising Identifier, only for the purpose of serving advertising - ref: https://developer.apple.com/programs/terms/ios/standard/ios_program_standard_agreement_20140909.pdf

Hi Jamie Any update? Hopefully there is a straightforward & quick answer, it seems silly to have to pass on the Fire TV / Fling platform just because the controller app isn't ad-supported. Thanks!
