ExoPlayer does not work with smooth streaming video content on fire phone

I have installed ExoPlayer (Google's new open source media player) on fire phone, and played back smooth streaming content from http://playready.directtaps.net/smoothstreaming/SSWSS720H264/SuperSpeedway_720.ism (listed as default video content by ExoPlayer). However, the ExoPlayer only played back few seconds video and stopped. The ExoPlayer APK has been verified compatible with fire phone.
