How do people get an app update

Hello, Since we don't have the option to buy an app and only to distribute one, I would like to get an insight about how does an app update occurs. When I update my app, the app is automatically being downloaded and updates in my customer's phone ? If not, in which way is he being notify about an update ? Another thing I would like you to add in the subject, is the ability to see how many customers using/updated to each version, like the have in Google Play. Thank you.

Hi Ronen, Thank you for your post. To check for app updates available on your device, tap "Apps" from the Home screen, and then press "Store." From the Store, press the Menu key, and then select "App Updates." You will be able to see all the apps updates available for your device. Hope this helps.

That seems very hidden. I think most people won't find it to update apps. I was trying to figure this out too and never found it after a lot of exploration. The image for the app automatically updated with a new version of the app, even though the actual app didn't update.

Hi Kincaid, When an app update is available, you will get a notification at the top of the screen. If you want to check manually, go to Apps, click on Store, click the menu button at the bottom of the screen, and select My Apps. The Update Available tab shows any available updates. In our 3rd gen devices you should be able to find this in slider menu in left side while you are in Apps->Store. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200729570
