Testing FirePhone example on Emulator

Hello, We have imported Fire Phone samples in Android Studio and successfully build all samples. We have created an emulator with configuration. Target: Amazon Fire Phone SDK Addon (API Level 17) On running SidePanels application we get error: Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY] We are using following library in manifest file: We have also added android_support jar in the libs folder. We have also installed two APKs (AmazonPlatform.apk, HomeSimulator.apk) provided by Amazon. Could you please suggest or help in identifying the reason of this error. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Prateek Sethi

Hi Prateek, You will not be able to create your own emulator for the Fire Phone. The Fire Phone SDK includes an API Simulator tool for developers who do not have access to a Fire phone. The API Simulator enables you to test basic app features, such as side panels and app widgets (hero widgets) using a regular Android device or emulator. You can find more info here: https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/devices/fire-phone/docs/using-the-api-simulator-tool
