Gaze tracking

On Amazon developer page: https://developer.amazon.com/public/binaries/content/assets/javadoc/fire-phone/reference/com/amazon/headtracking/package-summary.html it is mentioned that: "The HeadTracking package is part of the Dynamic Perspective Sensor API and enables gaze tracking. I do not see how to use the API in order to perform gaze tracking, the API provides distance and orientation of the head, but nothing about gaze. Did I miss something? Thanks, George

Hi George, Although the com.amazon.headtracking package does state ‘enables gaze tracking’, this is kind of a misnomer as it is only returning x,y,and z coordinates. A more relevant package for gaze tracking would be the com.amazon.motiongestures package and using GestureEvents. We will work to make the java doc a little clearer for this.
