What is up with the app store? I'm suddenly getting one star reviews because people are having problems buying the app. Either they buy it and it doesn't show up on their device, or they are not able to buy it because of some problem. This just started a couple of days ago. None of this is my app's fault, but I am taking the heat for it.
Here is the latest review: "I just tried to purchase this and I guess it will charge to my card but it does say pending right now on my order. It said it had problems so it didn't download. I hope they will credit my account now. I guess it's garbage. Amazon should check out the apps before they allow them on their site. They should work not be rip offs."
I too got a bad review that my app can't be downloaded, and I don't see why this bad end user experience should affect the rating of my app. I used the contact-us form in the developer portal. They directed me to the customer support The customer support directed me to the German customer support, because the purchase was from Germany and the stores are separate The German customer support said, she can only help the customers, and she can't help me, because I am not the customer and they don't do technical support for developers. She directed me to: the contact-us form in the developer portal. I am somewhat disappointed in the service for developers, that seem to have no way at all to improve end user experience. It's even impossible for me to find out about problems, because I can't see all reviews for my apps.
Yes I got the "Call Customer Support" runaround in response to my Contact Us submission. My latest App Submission has been languishing in "Under Review" since early last week My latest Contact Us submission hasn't been answered for several days AND my latest question I posted to the forum was deleted with no explanation! [b]Amazon you have to a better job of supporting your developers! [/b]
