Referral tag when linking to an app on the amazon app store

According to this resource: https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/in-app-purchasing/sample-code/deeplink.html I can add a referral (ref=) tag as parameter to any url that points to an app on the amazon app store. There are no instructions on how do I get access to this tag from within the app when it is installed. Can anyone guide me? Thanks, Damian

Hi Damian, Thank you for your patience. Actually, ref tag is meant for internal use and should not be used by developers. We will correct the documentation shortly. Thanks for bringing this in front.
