App marked compatible with 8.9" Kindle Fires but not 7"

Hello, Our app ComiCat is being sold from day one of Kindle Fire release. It's the most popular Comic reader app for Kindle Fire platform. However, our customers are facing issue as they upgraded to the new generation Kindle fire devices and the app is not available on it. As I see the app is marked compatible with 8.9" device but not 7". Dev support only sent a canned reply that "We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app ...". This doesn't help, neither us nor our customers. If there is indeed a compatibility issue with the new devices, then we would like to know about it so that we can fix it. Thanks. Best regards

please raise a ContactUs ( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html) with the application name and details. Is it ComiCat Versions 1.43. We would investigate further.

Dear Bipin, Thanks for your reply. Yes it is ComiCat Version 1.43. I raised a contact us request and didn't get any specific reply. A follow-up question met the same fate. Case id is 119007661. If I can get some insight into what made app fail the certification then I'll get it fixed in the upcoming update. I am in touch with Amazon promotion team for free app of the day and possibly "Wake screen special offer" and was hoping to get this fixed before that to make the most out of the promotion. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks. Best regards, Neha
