Newly approved app is denied "Developer Select" wrongly!! Who to contact?

Hello One of my app was just approved, that is a good thing. I made sure to submit only hires screenshot images from either my Kindle Fire HDX or latest Nexus 7. Thus all screenshots are high resolution and should pass the requirement for "Developer Select" program but the report indicates it is not the case. What the heck??? So who can I talk to for reporting that error and get the app properly recognized? Thank! Message was edited by: jtpdev Fixing a typo

You are on the right path. To protect the personal information of developers, we do not discuss the details of specific applications on these discussion forums, but request that you reach out to us via the ContactUs form. This allows us to validate your identity and discuss app specific information in a context that will not expose personal and proprietary information.

Thank... I do understand... I just hope that I will hear a response quickly enough. I double checked and all my app screenshots are from either Kindle HDX or latest Nexus 7 so they are the proper size. In addition my app support ldpi up to xxxdpi so I am baffled by the report stating it doesn't qualify for developer select... Am I missing something regarding that program? I check again the report and everything is a valid checkmark (except for Fire TV but since it doesn't target that platform I don't think it matters). The only checkmark where it is not checked is regarding "High Resolution Screenshots"... so I hope that can be solved quickly so my app can qualify for that program. I got an automatic reply after I did submit my contact information and my questions but almost 24 hours later no reply yet. And so because of that error on Amazon's side I can't advertise my app the way I would like... big bummer!! Hopefully I will get a reply/explanation in a matter of couple days rather than weeks or months!!! @Sujoy: if you have anyway to remind folks @ Amazon to check my requests, it will be AWESOME!!!

Understood! One more question: how long does it take for the app to appear in search results on Amazon AppStore? The app has been approved now more than 24 hours ago and when I search it by name, or using my company's name there is no result found but a direct link to the app works and from that result page anyone can download the app. I understand that after an app is approved it can take a few hours to be fully available for the CDN, cache systems and other systems to refresh but I will have expected that it will be taking less than 24 hours. For comparison the Apple AppStore which has 7 times more apps show new apps and updated ones in 2 to 3 hours max... With a lot more volumes going on Message was edited by: jtpdev Fixing typo

@Sujoy: so the app now appears in the search results but so far I still did not hear anything back regarding the erroneous report that my app does not qualify for "developer select" program... Any chance you can check why no one looked at the issue yet?

Hi jtpdev, If you click on the Developer Select link for your app you will be able to pull the details. In your case it is indicating: * Application is not HD optimized -Application does not consistently render in high definition - Observation:- Application is not HD optimized. Steps to reproduce : 1. Install and launch the app. 2. Icons of the options on the menu page are pixelated. If you are after Developer Select status for this app, then you will need to address the pixelated icons and resubmit your app for testing.

Hello Unfortunately you are looking at the wrong application. The application you are referring too doesn't have yet the asset and yes I know about it. My question is about the other app that was approved a couple days ago where the report indicates the screenshots do not have the proper dimension. I double check all of them and they are: I took them from Kindle Fire HDX and Nexus 7 and thus they match the requirement. I appreciate you looking at it but please check the proper app and let me know what/why it is happening.

Amazon you are killing me :-) You are able to approve apps to go in your store really quickly and I admire that! But sadly being able to have a follow up on why your system is reporting incorrect data after using the proper channel to contact you is a HUGE disappointment!! You are almost the opposite of the Apple AppStore where app approval is usually slow (5 days on average) but if you try to contact them about some app issues usually I got a reply between 2hrs to 24hrs max, even one time with a phone call from a real person. I know that someone already looked at it but sadly that person didn't look at the proper app... It is not like I have hundreds of app listed: only 2 apps are live, and unfortunately that person look at the wrong app. arghhhhh!! I am sure if someone was to look at my issue for the correct app I will either get an explanation on which screenshots is wrong -but from what I can see from the Dev portal they are all the proper sizes- OR someone will see that the report is wrong and need to be fixed. Amazon team: in order to run a successful AppStore business you need to have a good handle on your response time. So far I am now leaning more and more on the fact that Amazon is not fully committed for supporting a community of Dev. As of today I start to have even more respect for Apple and its support Dev team who are handling those interaction way better. Again anyone at Amazon: take a look at the report and check the screenshot for my app that went live 4 or 5 days ago... And you will be help to make my day!!!
