Developer Select failing due to "App displays Advertisements"

I am having an issue with developer select. It says "App displays advertisements but is not integrated with Amazon's mobile ad SDK". It is a paid app and contains no advertisements, why am I getting this message?

Hi Famke, Thank you for writing to us. In order to qualify the Amazon Developer Select program you app is supposed to be integrated with Amazon Mobile Ads SDK (if your app presents ads). That's why you are seeing this message. https://developer.amazon.com/public/resources/promotional-tools/featured-developer-program

This is not true or FAQ is wrong. There is explicitly said: Q: What if my app doesn't use any type of in-app purchasing or mobile ads? Do I still need to integrate the Amazon In-App Purchasing and Mobile Ads APIs? A: No. Only the APIs that are relevant for your app's use case need to be integrated. As original poster said, his app doesn't show Ads because it is a paid app. So, must he implement Amazon SDK or not?

Sorry for late response. Apps must exclusively use the Amazon In-App Purchasing (IAP) API (if your app enables in-app purchasing of supported digital products) and use Amazon Mobile Ads API (if your app presents ads) on a non-exclusive basis. It says, if the app sales digital content, it should integrate IAP SDK exclusively. Same applies for Mobile Ads. If the app presents ads in the app, it should be Amazon Mobile ads. So, Only the APIs that are relevant for your app's use case need to be integrated.

My question still remains unanswered so let me clarify: 1. My app is a paid app, so it does not display any ads. I have no Ad network integrated into the app. 2. My app is failing the developer select for "Mobile Ads". I don't want to integrate the Amazon Ad network, and I have no IAP. Here is a screenshot. http://i.imgur.com/o9hv2wx.png

Hi Famke, Our testing team has retested your apps and found that your app is failing as it does not have HD Screenshots. The screen shots submitted are of size: 800px × 480px, whereas the minimum criteria is: 1280px × 720px. Your other app passes all the test cases and qualifies for ADS. Please submit the HD Screenshots of the target app in order to get it white listed for ADS. Thanks for reaching out again and sorry for not being so clear in the previous response. Thanks.

Thank you. I fixed the screenshots and resubmitted the app, however it still says it is failing for the ads.

I have the same problem. My app is not showing any ads - it's ad free - and I don't use the Amazon ad SDK but it failed on the "Mobile Ad" test. + App lists Amazons mobile ad SDK in its manifest/code base but doesnt use it to consider bids + App displays advertisements but is not integrated with Amazons mobile ad SDK I never had an issue with this but on the last content update with new levels, suddenly the test did not pass. I don't show mobile ads in my app and I don't want to show ads in my app.
