Hi Koochy, I got the things clarified from respective team. We [b]NEVER [/b] reset ranking for an ASIN and rankings dropping/increasing on a day by day basis is not unexpected at all. We update the sales ranks for ASINs every hour and so what you are seeing here is simply the effect of purchase behavior. Note that ranking is [b]RELATIVE [/b] so ranking drop also means that there are other ASINSs that are selling a lot more. We are assuring you that everything is working as expected here. The drop you are observing right after your app update is just a co incidence. Thanks for writing to us.
